Data Deletion & Export

Simple Trainer (operated by Spoon Seller LLC) gives you direct control over your data. This page explains how to export or delete it and what happens when you do.
Export your data
You can download a machine-readable copy of your account data at any time:
- In the app: Settings → Account → Export my data.
- By email: write to support@simpletrainer.io from your account email and we will provide your export within 30 days.
The export includes your profile and the data you own (for a client: your logs, habits, nutrition entries, progress metrics and photos; for a trainer: your programs and workspace settings).
Delete your account
You can delete your account and personal data:
- In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account.
- By email: write to support@simpletrainer.io from your account email with the subject "Delete my account."
What deletion does
- Your account is immediately deactivated and you are signed out on all devices (active sessions are revoked).
- Within 30 days, we permanently delete or de-identify your personal data, including profile information, logs, habits, nutrition entries, progress metrics, photos and other media, and the content of your messages.
- Shared coaching data: if you are a client, deleting your account removes your shared data from your trainer's view. If you are a trainer, programs you authored are removed, and your connected clients keep the logs and photos they own.
- We may retain limited records where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse. Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary and is then deleted.
Timeline
Deletion completes within 30 days of your request. If you need confirmation, email us and we will confirm when deletion is complete.
